Instead of using paper-based menu cards, Restaurants are now installing touch screen displays on tables, so the customers can directly select the food items from the screen and order the food easily.In this paper a RFID based restaurant management system by using the concepts of open source technologies like Python and Raspberry Pi is presented. This system is introduced as a solution to the bottleneck caused by the cashiers.
