Any supports regarding the error above, or a recommendations to use another module will be appreciated. The problem is, I can't find any RFID readers that work this way. I've purchased two so far, and neither of them were configurable in any way. One reason I'm having trouble is that the acronym "HID" when used with RFID tech, means "Hughes Identification Devices" - a company that makes RFID products. So, I'll see a product listing for an RFID . I'm using node-hid to read data from a USB RFID card reader. The code runs perfectly when I start the script with "sudo npm run start." However, when I create the Electron App and run it, I get an error (see below). Talk to the Vue.js frontend using socket.io, and when is told to do so, it delivers the RFID tags received from the reader. Talk to the RFID reader using TCP Sockets(we will see this in a bit) to send the commands that reader understands and receive the tag values in the visibility radius (this is configurable).
